A Personal Statement From Our Leadership
The University of Parris Island is dedicated to provide funding for the Sgt. Mac Foundation, which aids active duty Marines, wounded servicemen and women, and veterans in need. The idea behind the institution was first conceptualized when Eric McColley expressed that he wanted a "University of Parris Island" bumper sticker upon graduation from boot camp. With the formation of the Sgt. Mac Foundation, the concept has been given a new breath of life. As a family, we are committed to establishing his idea and building upon the concept by supporting his fellow servicemen and women and the institution he loved so much. The University of Parris Island is not just any business - it is the continued realization of a dream to lift up those of our brave who need help the most. We believe Eric would be proud.
